Psychotherapist

A Therapist with RISE Youth & Family Services is an employee who develops a relationship with assigned individuals/families in order to assist with identified needs. A therapist works with individuals/families to provide psychotherapy services to address mental health and psychoeducational needs.

Essential Function/Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy on a weekly basis or as otherwise determined by team
  • Coordinate with the other professionals on the team as well as with the client/family
  • Attend client meetings as needed
  • Complete psychosocial assessment
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and all other required documentation
  • Complete 20-40 hours of initial training and 8 hours of training per year after
  • Complete all required agency documentation in a timely manner
  • Attend all required staff meetings and supervision
  • Participate in all client treatment team meetings

Requirements for licensed therapist

  • Minimum of Master’s Degree
  • Current WI state licensure as required by specific degree and training (3000 hour letter)
  • MA and NPI numbers
  • Good driving record
  • Must have safe and reliable vehicle and ability to provide proof of auto insurance
  • Completion of all required background checks
  • Background working with youth and/or families preferred
  • Completion of required training (20-40 hours depending on experience)

Requirements for QTT therapist

  • Minimum of Master’s Degree
  • Current QTT licensure
  • MA and NPI numbers
  • Good driving record
  • Must have safe and reliable vehicle and ability to provide proof of auto insurance (100/300/100)
  • Completion of all required background checks
  • Background working with youth and/or families preferred
  • Completion of 30 hours initial training

Mentor/Parent Advocate

A Mentor with RISE Youth & Family Services is a general term which applies to skill development, family coaching, parenting support, psychoeducation. In this role the employee develops a one-on-one relationship with the client on his/her assigned case load to assist the client through by providing support, guidance and structure. The mentoring relationship is focused on the client’s needs and is guided by a treatment plan developed by the team working with the client.

Essential Function/Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients weekly
  • Coordinate with the other professionals on the team as well as with the family
  • Attend client meetings as needed
  • Serve as a positive role model by introducing client to positive resources and opportunities within the community
  • Facilitate client’s emotional, physical, social and intellectual growth by engaging client in age-appropriate activities
  • Demonstrate ability to engage and set goals with client
  • Complete 20-40 hours of initial training and 8 hours of training per year after
  • Complete all required agency documentation in a timely manner
  • Attend all required staff meetings

Requirements for Mentor

  • 21 years of age
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Good driving record
  • Must have safe and reliable vehicle and ability to provide proof of auto insurance
  • Completion of all required background checks
  • Experience working with youth in a formal or informal setting
  • Completion of required training (20-40 hours depending on experience)

Crisis Stabilizer

A Crisis Stabilizer with RISE Youth & Family Services is an employee who develops a one-on-one relationship with youth on his/her assigned case load to provide the youth and family with support and intervention during crisis situations. The interventions and services are focused on the youth’s needs and are guided by a treatment plan developed by the team working with the youth. This position requires an on-call component

Essential Function/Responsibilities

  • Meet with the youth to develop rapport and focus on crisis prevention skills
  • Coordinate with the other professionals on the team as well as with the family
  • Attend client meetings as needed
  • Respond to calls from school, community and/or home to intervene during crisis situations
  • Complete 30-40 hours of initial training and 10 hours of training per year thereafter
  • Complete all required agency documentation in a timely manner
  • Provide on-call services
  • Attend all required staff meetings

Requirements for Crisis Stabilizer

  • 21 years of age
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
